JOIN GEORGIA PHILHARMONIC
Georgia Philharmonic thrives on the quality of its musicians and membership is by audition only. Members of Georgia Philharmonic are volunteers, and include professional musicians, local educators, and other members of the community who are all passionate about sharing the joy of orchestral music.

2026/27 OPEN POSITIONS
Principal Flute
Applications, including a preliminary virtual audition, are due July 31, 2026. Live auditions for invited finalists will take place on August 22, 2026.
Principal Trumpet
Applications, including a preliminary virtual audition, are due July 31, 2026. Live auditions for invited finalists will take place on August 22, 2026.
Principal Tuba
Applications, including a preliminary virtual audition, are due July 31, 2026. Live auditions for invited finalists will take place on August 22, 2026.
Section Musicians
Applications for section string musicians and alternate wind and brass musicians are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Before applying, please note that rehearsals are held on Monday evenings in the Alpharetta area. Dress rehearsals are typically held on Friday evenings the evening before a concert. Attendance at rehearsals is mandatory with the exception of the occasional excused absence.
